CINHS students & Faculty attended 20th Anniversary celebration of Liver Foundation west Bengal
To commemorate two decades of dedicated service in healthcare, education, research, and community welfare, Liver Foundation, West Bengal organized a two-day Grand Celebration Programme at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata.
The first day of the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Liver Foundation, West Bengal was dedicated to the theme "Human Biology & Public Health." & Second Day “Through The Decades”
CINHS observed International Yoga Day on 19th May with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, faculty members, and staff. The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy body, a calm mind, and overall well-being. The event began with a brief address on the significance of yoga and its role in leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Participants enthusiastically joined the yoga session, where they practiced various yoga postures, breathing exercises (Pranayama), and simple meditation techniques under the guidance of an instructor. The session encouraged everyone to experience the physical and mental benefits of regular yoga practice. Faculty members motivated the students to make yoga a part of their daily routine to improve their physical fitness, reduce stress, and enhance concentration. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of everyone involved in making the event a success.
The celebration provided an opportunity for the CINHS community to come together, promote healthy living, and reinforce the importance of self-care and wellness in everyday life.
International Nurses Day is observed o annually on 12th May to commemorate the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, whose pioneering work during the Crimean War transformed nursing into a respected and professional discipline.
On the occasion of International Nurses Day, various programs were organized by the students of CINHS to commemorate the significance of the nursing profession and to pay tribute to the dedicated service of nurses. The celebration included a welcome address, cultural performances, and speeches highlighting the contributions of nurses to healthcare, and activities that promoted the values of compassion, care, and professionalism. Faculty members, students, and guests actively participated in the event, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable

CINHS students & Faculty attended Ritwil Japon. "Liver Foundation, West Bengal is organizing year-long celebrations of the 100th Birth Anniversary of Ritwik Ghatak. Commemorative programs held on the 4th of every month for one year to honour the legendary filmmaker's contribution to cinema and culture."

They are essential for advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes.

Chandrakant Institute of Nursing & Health Sciences (CINHS) celebrated World Health Day on 7th April with enthusiasm and a commitment to promoting health awareness. The event highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyles, and community well-being through educational activities ( Poster Making) and discussions.
The College successfully underwent an Inspection conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences to provide us affiliation for B.Sc. Nursing Course as a part of the regulatory Process to review the academic standards and infrastructure of the institution. Subsequently, CINHS received WBUHS affiliation to commence the B.Sc. Nursing course.
